How to customize blogger archive with bootstrap select

In this post,I will show you how to customize the blogger archive with the bootstrap select picker. The bootstrap select picker is a jQuery plugin which customizes bootstrap dropdown. The bootstrap select picker is 100% responsive.

Steps to customize blogger archive

1. Go to Dashboard > Layout > Add a Gadget
2. Select Blogger Archive from list of available gadgets
   
   
   
3. In Configure Blogger Archive dialog
   
   • Select Drop-down menu style as shown in the image below
   • And click on save
     
     
     
     
4. Now go to blogger site, you can see the blogger widget look like below
   
   
   
5. Now go to Dashboard > Template > Edit Template
6. Now find </head> tag and paste below code above that </head> tag. Please make sure below two points before you paste above code
   
   • You haven’t added this script file already
   • It should in the same order as given in below code snippet
   
   
7. Now find the text “archivemenu” in blogger template you will see something like below


Replace the above code with below code




8. Now find </body> tag and paste below code above that </body> tag
9. Click save and your blogger archive will like below
